Moghedien enters Graendal's room with Cyndane, feigning a superior stance while secretly fearing Cyndane's strength and Moridin's displeasure. After Graendal binds them with Compulsion, she demands they answer her questions. When Shaidar Haran appears and kills the servants, Moghedien collapses into terrified submission, pleading for Graendal to serve Moridin to avoid being killed.
