Seaine navigates the tense hallways of the White Tower to meet with Pevara and Zerah Dacan in a secluded basement room. She participates in the interrogation of Zerah, using the Oath Rod to verify her loyalty, and is later confronted by Saerin and other Sitters who demand to know their purpose before verifying their own oaths.
