Alanna Sedai spiega ad Egwene la risonanza del ter'angreal e offre di condividere la sua punizione lavorando in cucina, richiesta che l'Amyrlin acconsente parzialmente. Spiega inoltre ad Egwene i doveri e la storia dell'Ajah Verde.
