Verin locates Rand in the rain, reports that the Seanchan have crossed into Illian and are building fortified camps, and advises him that Cadsuane will listen to him if he shows he is not a fool. She confirms Cadsuane is riding with Min, Nynaeve, and Alivia, and delivers a message from Rand to Cadsuane accepting her terms, before departing to dry off.
