Talaan is an Aiel'dsisiwai apprentice trained by Nynaeve. She successfully shields Nynaeve during a lesson as part of a demonstration for Zaida and later begs Nynaeve to take her to the White Tower, citing the unfair hardships of her life in the Atha'an Miere.
