Chapter 11 - Ideas of Importance

Rand enters a palace storeroom through a gateway, struggling with the taint of saidin, and walks with Min until they are stopped by Mistress Harfor. He adopts the persona of a workman named Nuli and is led to Nynaeve's rooms, where he reveals his true identity, shows her two ter'angreal, and explains his plan to cleanse saidin.

Min accompanies Rand into the palace storeroom, sneezing from the dust, and attempts to find Nynaeve by posing as a visitor. She encounters Mistress Harfor, who directs her to Nynaeve, and then rushes away down the corridor, worrying Rand that she might seek out Elayne.
