Chapter 1 - Waiting
Perrin / Perrin Aybara
Perrin siede con i suoi compagni shienariani nelle montagne, utilizzando la sua vista potenziata per individuare il cavaliere in avvicinamento e uccidere un corvo con il suo lungo arco. Guida Leya nel campo, eludendo i suoi argomenti filosofici sul pacifismo mentre reprime il crescente disagio che lo attanaglia. Infine arriva nella valle nascosta, rivelando che si tratta dell'accampamento del Drago Rinato.
Chapter 2 - Saidin
Perrin
Perrin si scalda al fuoco e discute della visione di Min sulla morte di Leya, decidendo di non poterla impedire ma chiedendosi se segnali un attacco al campo. Ascolta Loial mentre spiega a Min cos'è un ta'vearen, poi trova Rand in una valle rocciosa isolata, dove assiste alla lotta di Rand contro l'attrazione di Saidin e a un terremoto accidentale causato dal suo potere.
Chapter 3 - News from the Plain
Perrin / Perrin Aybara
Perrin osserva l'indifferenza di Moiraine verso il terremoto accidentale di Rand e cerca di convincere Min a lasciare il pericoloso accampamento offrendole dell'argento per il viaggio, ma lei rifiuta basandosi su una parabola sul destino che lui le racconta. Ascolta il resoconto di Moiraine sui Whitecloaks e gli Soulless, poi accetta la terza guardia da Uno prima di ritirarsi nella sua capanna, dove sogni tremanti lo tormentano.
Chapter 4 - Shadows Sleeping

Perrin sopporta una fredda e persistente sensazione di terrore mentre è seduto accanto a un fuoco, che si trasforma in una sequenza onirica in cui viene tentato da un uomo misterioso nelle ombre e da una donna bellissima ad accettare il ruolo di leader eroico. Egli resiste a questi impulsi, affermando la sua identità di fabbro, prima di ritrovarsi in un paesaggio onirico di guglie di pietra dove tre uomini svaniscono nel fuoco e una spada gli parla, avvertendolo dei Torcati. Un lupo nel sogno trasmette lo stesso avvertimento, facendo sì che Perrin si risvegli tremante per paura e rabbia.
Chapter 5 - Nightmares Walking
Perrin — aliases: Young Bull (Giovane Toro), blacksmith (fabbro)
Perrin si alza dal letto per combattere i Trolloci, poi si imbatte in un Myrddraal che uccide Leya. Assume la forma del lupo Young Bull per uccidere l'Uomo Metà e dare la caccia ai rimanenti Twisted Ones, per poi tornare alla sua forma umana e ricevere le cure da Moiraine, assistendo alle condizioni di Rand.
Chapter 6 - The Hunt Begins
Perrin / Perrin Aybara — aliases: Lord Perrin (Lord Perrin), the blacksmith (il fabbro)
Perrin si sveglia e scopre che Rand è scomparso; affronta Moiraine riguardo alla partenza del Drago, esigendo risposte sui Forsaken e sulla natura delle Profezie. Racconta il suo sogno della spada Callandor, che Moiraine conferma essere un messaggio telepatico di Rand, e si accorda riluttante di unirsi al gruppo di inseguimento diretto a Tear.
Chapter 7 - The Way Out of the Mountains

Perrin viaggia con il gruppo, osservando i segni del passaggio di Lan e resistendo all'influenza graduale di Moiraine che lo porta ad assumere i suoi compiti. Pesca con Loial, cattura trote per i pasti e avverte la presenza dei lupi anche mentre lasciano le montagne, raggiungendo infine il villaggio di Jarra.
Chapter 8 - Jarra
Perrin — aliases: good master (buon maestro), blacksmith (fabbro)
Perrin entra a Jarra con il suo gruppo e interroga Simion per localizzare Rand, scoprendo che il Drago è passato verso est. In seguito affronta Moiraine per il suo silenzio e i pericoli dei ta'veren, e alla fine convince Simion a liberare Noam dalla sua gabbia, nascondendo i propri occhi gialli per evitare l'attenzione dei Whitecloak.
Chapter 9 - Wolf Dreams
Perrin
Perrin affronta Moiraine riguardo alla sua paura di diventare come Noam, scoprendo che i lupi esistono in parte in un mondo di sogni. Più tardi sogna di corridoi ombrosi in cui viene salvato da un'entità oscura dal lupo Hopper, svegliandosi con il sangue sul viso e decidendo di combattere la perdita della propria identità.
Chapter 27 - Tel’aran’rhiod
Perrin
Nel sogno di Egwene, Perrin appare legato da una catena nera a un pilastro di pietra in una stanza buia di una locanda, sorvegliato dal lupo Hopper, prima che la porta si chiuda con uno schianto e la visione termini.
Chapter 33 - Within the Weave
Perrin — aliases: young master (giovane padrone)
Rides alongside Loial and observes the strange markings and events left by Rand. He enters the inn, notices a plain-dressed woman staring at him, and is dismissed by Lord Orban as a servant to Master Andra.
Chapter 34 - A Different Dance
Perrin / Perrin Aybara — aliases: wetlander, blacksmith (fabbro)
Perrin worries about the staring woman and the caged Aiel, then secretly frees the Aiel Gaul from the gibbet in the square. He fights alongside Gaul against a group of Whitecloaks, killing several men with his axe, and is later reprimanded by Lan for the incident before being ordered to prepare for an immediate escape.
Chapter 35 - The Falcon
Perrin / Perrin Aybara — aliases: farmboy (ragazzo di fattoria), countryman
Perrin rushes to gather his gear and find Loial before fleeing Remen, later calming the horses for boarding and confronting Zarine Bashere on the deck of the Snow Goose, where he questions her motives and dismisses her theories about the Horn of Valere before going below to sleep.
Chapter 36 - Daughter of the Night
Perrin
Perrin falls asleep in the ship's cabin and enters a dream where Hopper guides him to a domain of mirrors where Ba'alzamon executes a Darkfriend. He wakes with a burn mark on his chest and reports the vision of Ba'alzamon and Lanfear to Moiraine, who examines him coldly before he leaves to find Zarine Bashere on deck.
Chapter 41 - A Hunter’s Oath

Perrin si trova sulla tolda a osservare le paludi e le concerie di Illian, cercando di ignorare il disappunto di Moiraine. Perde malvolentieri Zarine a montare dietro di lui su Stepper dopo che lei giura un giuramento a Moiraine, lamentandosi internamente della sua nuova responsabilità.
Chapter 42 - Easing the Badger
Perrin
Perrin rides through Illian, noting the city's strange canals and the underlying anger of its people. In the inn, he senses the wrongness of Gray Men, alerts his companions, and brutally kills six attackers with a chair leg and bludgeon after Moiraine is unable to channel without endangering her friends.
Chapter 43 - Shadowbrothers

Perrin aiuta a identificare gli Uomini Grigi grazie all'olfatto e insegue un Darkhound fuori dalla locanda, scoprendo le terrificanti capacità della creatura. Si addormenta ed entra in Tel'aran'rhiod per parlare con Hopper dei Fratelli dell'Ombra e dell'Ultima Caccia, svegliandosi per trovare Zarine che lo osserva prima che Moiraine interrompa con notizie urgenti.
Chapter 44 - Hunted
Perrin
Perrin dresses hastily and argues with Moiraine about Zarine's loyalty before fleeing Illian with the group. He rides with his unstrung bow to face the Darkhounds, drawing and loosing arrows at them while waiting for Moiraine's intervention. He questions Moiraine about the pursuit and listens as she explains her use of a forbidden power to destroy the pack. Later, Mat encounters attackers and kills them, thinking to himself that the woman had no luck.
Chapter 50 - The Hammer

Arriving in Tear, Perrin rides to a smithy where he spends the day working the bellows and forging a chamfer knife under the direction of the smith Dermid Ajala. He earns the smith's respect and a gift of a heavy hammer before rejoining his companions to hear Moiraine's report about the Forsaken Be'lal.
Chapter 53 - A Flow of the Spirit
Perrin — aliases: blacksmith (fabbro), farmboy (ragazzo di fattoria)
Perrin reflects on his work as a blacksmith and his awkwardness around Zarine before joining Moiraine and Lan to find her collapsed in a dining room. He discovers she is trapped in a dream by a ter’angreal and, refusing to leave her, enters the dream world himself to find her while Loial guards his body.
Chapter 54 - Into the Stone
Perrin — aliases: Young Bull (Giovane Toro), blacksmith (fabbro)
Perrin Aybara hunts through the Stone of Tear in Tel'aran'rhiod, finds Faile chained to a stone block, shatters the lock and chains with his hammer, but loses her to the shifting nature of the dream before Hopper urges him to continue the hunt.
Chapter 55 - What Is Written in Prophecy
Perrin — aliases: Young Bull (Giovane Toro), blacksmith (fabbro)
Perrin hunts through the dreaming Stone, growing weaker as his flesh fades. He finds bronze doors with tiny falcons and shatters them with his hammer. He enters a chamber filled with attacking falcons, reaches a perch, and snaps the chain holding Faile. He collapses into darkness and wakes in the Star inn's dining room as Faile tends to his wounds, realizing he has freed her in the dream and the waking world.
