Min resta accanto al fuoco e dice a Perrin di prevedere la morte violenta di Leya, anche se non può dire quando. Si lamenta con Loial di essere stata trascinata in giro dalle Aes Sedai e dai ta’veren, e chiede se anche il viaggio di Loial sia dovuto al Pattern, prima di esprimere la sua frustrazione per la mancanza di controllo sulla propria vita.

Chapter 3 - News from the Plain

Min cooks stew at the camp fires, bruised from the earthquake, and rejects Perrin’s suggestion to flee, sharing a story about love and regret. She discusses her vision of Leya’s bloody death with Moiraine, who dismisses it as possibly not yet come, and questions the effectiveness of wards against the Soulless before staring down Lan’s disapproval.

Chapter 5 - Nightmares Walking

Min assiste alla battaglia e alle sue conseguenze, conforta Rand ed esprime preoccupazione per Perrin, quindi osserva Moiraine guarire Perrin e curare la ferita di Rand.
