Hopper appears in Perrin's dream as a big, scarred gray wolf, urgently sending warnings of danger and telling Perrin to run before leaping at him to wake him.

Chapter 27 - Tel’aran’rhiod

In Egwene's dream, the wolf Hopper stands guard near Perrin, growling with bared teeth until Perrin commands him to stay back as Egwene approaches.

Chapter 36 - Daughter of the Night

Hopper — aliases: the wolf

Hopper appears in Perrin's dream, leading him to the domain of the Forsaken. He communicates with Perrin through images and emotions, warning him to be careful, and then leaps into the air, soaring like an eagle before vanishing.

Chapter 43 - Shadowbrothers

Hopper — aliases: wolf (lupo), Heartfang, Moonhunter

Hopper appears in Perrin's dream atop a stone spire, communicating warnings about the Last Hunt and Shadowbrothers. He knocks Perrin off the spire with a final command to flee the Shadowbrothers.

Chapter 53 - A Flow of the Spirit

Hopper appears in the wolf dream to meet Perrin, warning him of the danger and telling him that Zarine is trapped. Upon Perrin's decision to hunt the falcon to free her, Hopper joins him, and the two wolves begin tracking the scent through the dream landscape.

Chapter 54 - Into the Stone

Hopper appears as a wolf in Perrin's dream, kills a Darkfriend attacker, and advises Perrin that the Stone is a place of men and urges him to hunt again after he loses Faile.

Chapter 55 - What Is Written in Prophecy

Hopper trotta al fianco di Perrin nel sogno, guidandolo verso le porte di bronzo. Avverte Perrin che la sua carne si sta indebolendo perché si aggrappa troppo fortemente ad essa. Guida Perrin verso la posizione del falco, voltandosi e trotterellando verso le porte prima che Perrin le raggiunga.
