Remains in Jurador for two extra days with Luca's show, buys a black yew bowstave and a razor mare after haggling with the stablekeeper. He reflects on his ta'veren luck and the dice spinning in his head, then visits Tuon's wagon where he calls her "Precious" and learns of approaching Seanchan soldiers.
Chapter 7 - A Cold Medallion

Reacts to news of Seanchan troops by ordering Noal and Olver to warn Egeanin and the Aes Sedai, then leaves his wagon to assess the enemy camp across the road.

Uses his foxhead medallion to disrupt channeling inside the Aes Sedai wagon by physically restraining Joline until the flow ceases. Deduces Setalle Anan recognizes his artifact, avoids confrontation with Joline's Warders, and retreats to sleep on the floor while remaining deeply wary of the surrounding threats.
