Summary
Katerine gags Leane Sharif with Air after she claims Nynaeve healed her and changed Ajahs, then escorts Egwene to Silviana Brehon as ordered. In the Mistress of Novices's study, Silviana takes over shielding Egwene and reveals Elaida's plan to downgrade her to a novice, spare her execution, and subject her to hourly forkroot tinctures and strict supervision. Egwene refuses to deny her status as Amyrlin, plans to endure punishment through an Aiel mindset, and shares a Dreaming vision of Seanchan attacking the White Tower with Silviana, who agrees to pass the warning but threatens harsher corrections if unverified.
