Chapter 31 - The House on Full Moon Street

Summary

Elayne enforces strict safety protocols for the Kin following recent murders and firmly rejects Duhara Basaheen's unsolicited claim to serve as her advisor, dismissing the Red sister after she attempts to leverage Elayne's Accepted status. After Master Norry and Samwil Hark report that Mellar has been visiting Lady Shiaine Avarhin's residence with two disguised Aes Sedai, Elayne mobilizes a nighttime raid to capture them. She leads Vandene, Sareitha, and Careane into the house, binding Shiaine and the two sisters, but is suddenly ambushed by four additional Black Ajah members using a ter'angreal that disrupts channeling. The reinforcements reveal Careane's Darkfriend allegiance, kill Vandene and Sareitha, and prepare to deal with Elayne as her Warders approach.
