Lies face down on blankets in Faile's tent with a bruised bottom and a damp cloth, weeps about their hopeless situation, but regains composure upon hearing news of the rod and vows to keep her nerve.
Chapter 28 - In Maiden
Alliandre / Taborwin
Assists in subduing Dairaine, helps gather supplies for the escape, and is trapped in the basement. Defiantly discards a golden belt and collar before helping to clear rubble.
Chapter 29 - The Last Knot
Alliandre
Helps Maighdin to her feet, faces a thunderhead expression upon learning of Galina's betrayal, and orders Faile to huddle against the far wall for safety.
