Siuan enters Egwene's tent visibly upset about being sidelined, learns of Moghedien's escape, and argues against the uselessness of the inquiry. She eventually complies with Egwene's orders to investigate discreetly, feigning sulking to avoid suspicion, while also deflecting Egwene's offer to interfere in her debt obligation to Gareth Bryne.
