Elaida — aliases: the Amyrlin Seat

Elaida observes the construction of her new palace from her high quarters and reviews reports from her network, including news of Rand al'Thor's capture by Galina Casban. She orders Toveine Gazal to lead fifty sisters and two hundred guards to attack the Black Tower in Caemlyn and commands the retrieval of Elayne Trakand and Nynaeve al'Meara from Ebou Dar. She experiences a Foretelling that predicts the crushing of the rebels and the salvation of the Tower, maintaining her belief in her own invincibility despite the approaching rebel army.
