Adelin, a tall Jindo Maiden with a thin scar, presents Rand with an ivory bracelet carved with roses for Aviendha. She explains that the gift will not dishonor Aviendha and leads a ritual where other Maidens approve of Rand. Adelin kisses Rand lightly on one cheek, while the others sip from his cup.
