Chapter 5 - Questioners
Nynaeve
エウィネ、ニナヴェ、アヴィエンダはストーンで捕らえられたブラック・アジャの姉妹、ジョイア・バイアとアミコ・ナゴインの尋問を行う。エウィネはチャネリング可能なジョイアにスピリットのシールドを維持し、スティリングされたアミコはタンチコにおける危険について断片的な情報を提供する。ジョイアは後にマズリーム・タムに関わる陰謀を明らかにし、彼を偽のドラゴンとして利用して真のドラゴンを破壊する計画を提案する。尋問の間、ニナヴェはアヴィエンダにスティリングの不可逆性について説教し、エウィネに対する自身の権威を主張する。この尋問はモイレインとエレーヌの到着によって中断され、エレーヌは考え込むように眉をひそめていた。
Chapter 6 - Doorways

ニネーブは、追加の支援なしに囚人たちを追い払ったモイレインに怒りをぶつけ、誰が嘘をついているかを決断する方法を問いただした。その後、彼女はエラインとエグウェンにスパイスワインを振る舞い、ランドを愛するというエラインの決意を問い、危険な道を選ぶことの実用的な結果を考慮するよう助言した。
Chapter 11 - What Lies Hidden

ニナエブはエグウェンの寝台の傍らに座り、テラランロイドの危険を恐れながらも毅然とした自信を示し、ろうそくが燃え尽きたらエグウェンを起こすと約束した。
Chapter 12 - Tanchico or the Tower

ニナエブは、エグウェンがテル・アラン・リオドに長時間留まったことに最初は激怒し、彼女が行方不明になるかもしれないと心配した。ニナエブは、エグウェンがタンチコへ行くことよりも訓練を必要としていると主張し、最終的にはエレーヌと共にタンチコへ航海することに同意したが、ランにエグウェンへの物資の準備を助けるよう指示した。
Chapter 16 - Leavetakings

ナイニヴはエラインと共にウェイヴダンサー号に同行し、トムとジュイランが彼らと共に旅をする許可を、アプテッドとしての権威を主張して厳しく要求する。彼女は二人の男性、特に過去の裏切り行為を持つジュイランに対して不信感を抱き、船が出航する中でモイレインの動機を懸念する。
Chapter 39 - A Cup of Wine

ニナエブはエレーネと共にタンチコの政治情勢を駆け巡り、エレーネが飲まされた毒入りのワインを浄化する調合剤を使用し、テラン・アロイドで夢を見ている間にランのような姿の人物に襲撃されるが、現実に傷を負って目覚める。
Chapter 46 - Veils

ニナエブは樽の板を使って攻撃者を撃退し、その後タンチコでブラック・アジャの捜索を指揮する。彼女は強力なチャネラーの女性による暗示を受け、敵の目的を明らかにさせられ、チャネリングを妨害された上、その出来事に関する記憶を消去される。結果としてニナエブは混乱するものの、ブラックの姉妹たちを見つけるという決意は揺るがない。
Chapter 51 - Revelations in Tanchico
Nynaeve — aliases: Mistress al'Meara (ミスレス・アル・ミエラ)
Nynaeve aggressively interrogates Egeanin upon the revelation of her Seanchan identity, accusing her of espionage. She learns of Egeanin's release of Bethamin and accepts the reports from Domon and Juilin regarding the Black Ajah's location at the Panarch's Palace. She binds Egeanin with Air to sleep in their room and prepares to visit Egwene in the World of Dreams.
Chapter 52 - Need
Nynaeve — aliases: Aes Sedai (エス・セイダイ), Wisdom (知恵)
Nynaeve enters Tel'aran'rhiod and uses Amys's method of focusing on 'need' to shift to the Panarch's Palace, where she observes Temaile and Amathera. She feels a mysterious pull toward a woman in mist who is revealed to be Moghedien, then encounters Birgitte and Gaidal Cain who warn her of the Forsaken. After retrieving information about a black ter'angreal and a cuendillar seal, she wakes up and directs Elayne, Egeanin, and the men on how to handle a mysterious Seanchan intruder in their inn.
Chapter 54 - Into the Palace
Nynaeve
Nynaeve enters the Exhibition Hall disguised as a serving woman and confronts Moghedien, who attempts to still her. Nynaeve withstands the attack, shields Moghedien, steals the cursed collar and bracelets, and escapes as Jeaine Caide destroys part of the hall with balefire.
Chapter 55 - Into the Deep
Nynaeve / al'Meara — aliases: Mistress al'Meara (ミスレス・アル・ミエラ), Mistress (女主人)
Nynaeve rushes through the palace to reunite with her companions, later standing firm as she inspects the captured artifacts and orders Domon to drop the cursed collar and bracelets into the deepest part of the sea to ensure they can never be used again.
