Aldieb is Moiraine's white mare, which Moiraine rides out of Tear and to the Portal Stone, and which is attended to by a gai'shain.

Chapter 36 - Misdirections

Aldieb, Moiraine's white mare, carries Moiraine through the Waste. Melaine climbs up behind Moiraine to ride awkwardly on Aldieb while speaking with the Aes Sedai.
