In a vision, Adan clutches his dead children and wife Siedre, grieving the loss of his family to hunger, fever, and channeling. He confronts Sulwin's faction as they abandon their duty to the Aes Sedai, refusing to let them leave the Aiel's heritage behind, and later weeps over Siedre's body.
