Perrin's dun stallion is bridled and saddled. He balks briefly at the reflection in the Waygate before merging into the tunnel, whickering nervously in the darkness.

Stepper, Perrin's dun stallion, is ridden out of the village by Perrin, though he is eventually dismounted as the group proceeds on foot to the sickhouse.

Stepper is brought to the sickhouse, admired by Tam and Abell for his condition, and then left outside with Swallow.

Stepper is ridden by Perrin and snorts at Tomas's gray horse before they arrive at the al'Seen farm, where he is later led to a barn.

Stepper

Perrin rides Stepper through the village to organize defenses, negotiates with the Whitecloaks, and eventually rides him toward the North Road to meet the arriving column.

Stepper, Perrin's horse, carries Perrin into battle, struggles and goes down under the weight of a Trolloc, and later gallops with Perrin toward Faile.
