Ordeith, a bony man in a dark gray coat, advises Bornhald and exerts influence over the Children of the Light. He speaks cryptically of 'He' coming to him and mocks Bornhald's command, revealing a connection to the Lord Captain Commander and a desire for things in Tar Valon.

Ordeith observes the battle from a distance, furious that his plan to destroy the Two Rivers failed. He decides to ride for Tar Valon and Caemlyn with his remaining men and a Myrddraal.
