Chapter 2 - Whirlpools in the Pattern

Faile expresses her desire to leave Tear with Perrin due to her fear of the Forsaken and the Dragon Reborn, but he refuses. She attempts to help him during his axe attack, only to be shoved out of the room for her safety, after which she slaps him in relief that he survived.
Chapter 3 - Reflection
Faile
Accompanying Perrin through the Stone, she observes Torean's behavior and later declines to enter Rand's chamber, choosing instead to retire to her bed while teasing Perrin about his innocence.
Chapter 14 - Customs of Mayene

Faile learns of the Whitecloak threat to the Two Rivers and argues with Perrin about the dangers of traveling the Ways. She confronts Berelain in the corridors, threatening to shave her head, which leads to a physical fight where Faile is overpowered. Rhuarc intervenes, confiscating her knives as punishment, after which Faile resolves to keep Perrin to herself.
Chapter 16 - Leavetakings

Faile stands behind Loial's flower bank, revealing she has tricked him by invoking a solemn oath to travel to the Two Rivers before anyone else. She forces Perrin to allow her to join the party or risk being left behind, showing no intention to stay.
Chapter 18 - Into the Ways
Faile
Faile mounts her mare Swallow, insisting Perrin must ask her to join him. She rides with Bain and Chiad, taunts Perrin about a 'lost puppy,' and follows him through the Waygate to the Ways.
Chapter 27 - Within the Ways
Faile
Faile rides through the Ways with Perrin, where she slaps and punches him for his secretive behavior before demanding he follow her call. In the Mountains of Mist, she helps Loial lead the pack animals out of the gate and then tends to Perrin's wounds with stitches and ointment, scolding him for his torn coat afterward.
Chapter 28 - To the Tower of Ghenjei
Faile
Faile insists on separate camps and takes her turn at guard duty, laughing with the other Aiel women before settling down. She is present in the camp when Perrin wakes and prepares to keep watch himself.
Chapter 29 - Homecoming
Faile
Faile follows Perrin to Emond’s Field, confronts him about his plan to surrender, gives a gift to Mistress al’Vere, and comforts Perrin as he grieves.
Chapter 30 - Beyond the Oak
Faile
Faile comforts Perrin and agrees to stay with him despite his earlier attempts to send her away. She is ready to draw her knife against Cenn Buie but is restrained by Perrin, and later trusts Mistress al’Vere's word regarding the hidden Aes Sedai, remaining vigilant.
Chapter 31 - Assurances
Faile
Faile accompanies Perrin to the sickhouse, scolding him for his rudeness toward the Aes Sedai. She later sits with the group while Alanna heals injuries and shares a moment with Perrin regarding his scar.
Chapter 32 - Questions to Be Asked
Faile
Faile travels with the group, corrects the villagers on the nature of Trolloc raids, and remains quietly admiring of Wil al'Seen while allowing Perrin to handle the confrontation with the villagers' suspicions.
Chapter 33 - A New Weave in the Pattern
Faile
Faile accompanies Perrin, forgives him for earlier jealousy, and helps rescue the prisoners during the night raid, displaying agility and combat readiness.
Chapter 40 - Hunter of Trollocs
Faile / Lady Faile
Faile arrives at Perrin's camp with Lord Luc, delivers news from Emond's Field, and insists on staying with Perrin during the Trolloc hunt. She rides alongside him on Stepper after the battle, tending to his wounds and offering encouragement.
Chapter 41 - Among the Tuatha’an
Faile
Faile refuses the Maidens' suggestion to sleep elsewhere and stays with Perrin in the wagon. She comforts him after his wound is treated, listens to his confession about his wolf dream, and reveals her true identity as the daughter of Lord Davram Bashere. She then forces him to drink a sedative to help him sleep.
Chapter 42 - A Missing Leaf

Faile tends to Perrin’s wounds in the Tinker wagon, forcing him to rest and eat. She firmly denies his request to ride to the mountains, dictates his transport on a litter if necessary, and accompanies him to Emond’s Field, where she deflects Tinker advances and defends Perrin’s honor.
Chapter 43 - Care for the Living
Faile
Faile stays by Perrin’s side, tending to him and angrily dismissing the inquisitive villagers to protect his rest. She helps restrain him for the medical procedure and holds a biting stick for him to chew on before he faints.
Chapter 44 - The Breaking Storm
Faile
Stays by Perrin's bedside, forces him to drink water, and physically prevents him from leaving the inn by dragging him down the stairs. She then negotiates with Marin al’Vere to let him ride, manages his pride by flattering him, and rides with him to the village green, staying close to ensure he does not engage the enemy prematurely.
Chapter 45 - The Tinker’s Sword
Faile
Faile helps manage the refugee situation and warns Perrin against the dangers of allowing the Whitecloaks into the village, sharpening her knife while expressing her distrust of Bornhald.
