Elaida beobachtet, wie Sahra das Studierzimmer der Amyrlin verlässt, und vermutet, dass die Amyrlin die Wahrheit über Elayne verbirgt. Sie denkt über ihre Vorhersagen bezüglich Andor und des Wiedergeborenen Drachen nach und kommt zu dem Schluss, dass Siuan gestoppt werden muss. Sie teilt Alviarin mit, dass sie keinen Beweis für Siuans Fehlverhalten hat.

Chapter 47 - The Truth of a Viewing

Elaida — aliases: Amyrlin Seat (Amyrlin-Sitz), Red sister (Rote Schwester), Leech

Elaida leads a group of Aes Sedai and Warders into Siuan's study, declaring her deposed by unanimous vote of the Hall. She physically removes Siuan's stole and channels Air to bind her. The box of papers flares into flame when Alviarin opens it, destroying its contents. She then commands her guards to take Siuan below. Later, she strides through the corridors wearing the Amyrlin stole, with Alviarin as her Keeper, while Siuan and her companions hide from her gaze.
