セレネはランドの居室に現れ、フォークセンのランフェアであることを明かし、ランドは自分のものであると主張して、彼が自分が送り込んだ暗殺者を殺す前に、ダークワンのもとで世界を支配するために自分に加わるよう説得しようとする。

ランフィールは戦いの最中にランドの前に現れ、攻撃を仕組んだのではないと主張し、彼が不確実で傲慢でないことを好むと語った。彼女は彼のチャネリングを打ち消す能力を示し、カランドールを取り戻すために逃げることを許し、彼を取り戻せると信じている限り彼を殺そうとしないだろうと推測した。

Lanfear appears in Rand's dream in a pond, interacting with him before revealing her identity. She bites his neck, leaving a wound, and argues with a blurred male figure before vanishing. She is physically present in the dream narrative.
Chapter 57 - A Breaking in the Three-fold Land
Lanfear
Lanfear appears to Rand within his protective rain dome, revealing that Asmodean has fled Rhuidean to find a sa'angreal. She attempts to seduce Rand. Rand creates a doorway to follow Asmodean, stepping through it and leaving Lanfear behind.
Chapter 58 - The Traps of Rhuidean

ランフィールはランドンがアスモディアンを倒した後に現れ、自分の名前がミリーンであることを明かす。彼女はアスモディアンをランドンに仕えさせ、イセンドレ・カデレが窃盗の罪で処罰されたことを明らかにする。彼女はランドンに他のフォークセンについて警告し、魔法の扉を通って去っていく。
