Tomas, a Warder with a bow and arrow, confronts the group with his partner Ihvon. He demands to know why Mistress al’Vere is hiding Aes Sedai, who are present in the village.

Tomas rides with the group, controls his horse with his knees, and defends Perrin's innocence by contrasting the young man's upbringing with the Whitecloaks who burned farms, while sitting tense as if about to draw his sword.

Tomas remains behind with Verin to draw off the Whitecloak pursuers, leaving the rescue party to ride to safety.

Chapter 44 - The Breaking Storm

Rides up to Perrin, explains that the single Trolloc was a test, and points out that the next attack will be stronger. He watches the battle with the other Warder and does not join the celebration.
