Dr. Warren is summoned by telephone and hurries to the Harrington house to attend to Pollyanna. He examines the unconscious girl, notes that there are no broken bones but looks grave about internal injuries, and sends for a trained nurse.

Chapter 26 - A Door Ajar

Dr. Warren, a small man with brown eyes and a pointed beard, stands by the bedside with Dr. Mead. After Miss Polly faints, he helps bring her back to consciousness alongside Dr. Mead.

Chapter 30 - Jimmy Takes the Helm

Dr. Warren encounters Miss Polly in the hallway, where she breathlessly informs him that she has reconsidered her previous refusal and urgently asks him to call Dr. Chilton for a consultation.

Chapter 31 - A New Uncle

Dr. Warren accompanies Dr. Chilton into the chamber and stands by the window talking earnestly with the nurse while the doctor attends to Pollyanna.
