Summary

Nancy informs Miss Polly that Jimmy Bean wishes to see her, leading to an earnest conversation where Jimmy reveals he overheard Dr. Chilton and Mr. Pendleton discussing a potential cure for Pollyanna. Jimmy explains that Dr. Chilton can treat Pollyanna but is barred by professional pride from visiting without a direct invitation from Miss Polly, and he urges her to allow the consultation for Pollyanna's sake.
