Chapter 18 - Into the Ways

Gaul awaits Perrin in the corridors, reporting that Bain and Chiad have chosen to accompany Faile instead. He travels with the group to the Waygate, enters the Ways calmly, and warns Perrin that the Aiel women intend to teach him a lesson for his treatment of Faile.

Gaul accompanies Perrin through the Ways, calmly observing the surroundings. He fights the Trollocs with his spear and buckler, narrowly surviving the engagement with the Myrddraal before fleeing to the Waygate.
