Chapter 3 - Reflection

Perrin walks through the Stone of Tear with Faile, his eyes glowing gold in the dark, and confronts the rising fear among the locals. He storms past the Maidens of the Spear to find Rand injured in his chambers, applies pressure to a wound, and listens to Rand’s account of the mirror attack. After Moiraine heals Rand, Perrin departs the room, noting the shift in the Tairen lords' attitude and ensuring Faile decides to leave the Stone.
Chapter 13 - Rumors

Found packing his saddlebags in his room at the Stone of Tear, Perrin confirms to Mat that he is leaving for the Two Rivers to stop the Whitecloaks from hurting their families. He acknowledges their different paths and expresses relief that Mat is leaving, then departs without further delay.
Chapter 14 - Customs of Mayene

Perrin prepares his saddlebags and changes clothes, reflecting on his bruised shoulder and his resolve to return to the Two Rivers despite knowing the danger. He is interrupted by Berelain, who flirts with him and offers him a job in Mayene, which he firmly declines. Later, he has a heated argument with Faile about her refusal to let him go alone, insisting he will travel via the Ways to save his people from the Whitecloaks before revealing his secret despair and intention to die fighting them. Afterward, Faile notices Berelain has invoked an Ogier's oath in her speech, leading her to realize the speaker would not break such a vow.
Chapter 16 - Leavetakings

Perrin wakes from fitful dreams of hanging and Whitecloaks, then visits Loial to request passage through the Ways to the Two Rivers to stop the Children of the Light. He refuses Faile's demand to come with him, insisting she tricked Loial, and agrees to trail them in secret. He accepts Gaul's offer of Aiel protection against the threats in the Two Rivers.
Chapter 28 - To the Tower of Ghenjei

Perrin camps separately from Faile’s group to maintain watch and prepare for his dream journey. He enters the Wolf Dream, chasing Slayer toward the Tower of Ghenjei and receiving a warning from a strange woman about the dangers of the Aelfinn and Eelfinn. Upon waking, he realizes his home in the Two Rivers is tainted by Slayer and devoid of wolves, confirming the threat he must face.
Chapter 29 - Homecoming

Later, he speaks privately with Tam and Abell, learning of the Whitecloak captivity and the threat of Trollocs and Slayer, and resolves to rescue the prisoners.
Chapter 41 - Among the Tuatha'an

Perrin leads his wounded party to the Tuatha'an camp, collapsing from his arrow wound upon entering Raen's wagon. He is treated by Ila and Faile, confesses his ability to speak to wolves and fear of losing his humanity to Faile, and is eventually sedated by her after she reveals her high-born identity.
Chapter 43 - Care for the Living

Perrin collapses from his wounds and exhaustion, demanding to be taken inside the inn to escape the grieving townsfolk. He fields a barrage of questions from his old friends Dav, Elam, and Ewin about his adventures, before Loial arrives to confess that he inadvertently left the Waygate unlocked. Perrin accepts responsibility for the open gate and waits for Alanna to remove an arrow from his side, eventually losing consciousness from the pain and fever.
Chapter 56 - Goldeneyes
Perrin — aliases: Lord Perrin, Goldeneyes, Blacksmith
Perrin writes a letter of love to Faile and prepares for battle, organizing the village defenses and leading the fight against the Trollocs. He reconciles with Faile after her arrival saves the village, accepts the title of 'Goldeneyes' from the villagers, and confronts Bornhald about the Whitecloaks' inaction before ordering them to leave.
