Bain stays with the group, laughing at Perrin and Gaul's dynamic before the attack. She fights in the ambush using her curved horn bow and helps the other Aiel tend to their wounds afterward.

Bain accompanies Gaul and Chiad to the hunting party, riding with them into the Waterwood. She survives the ambush unharmed and is among the survivors seen during the rally.

Bain speaks urgently with Chiad and Faile, trying to convince Faile to stay away from the Tinkers, before trotting off to join Gaul.
