Chapter 18 - A Hound of Darkness

Moghedien — aliases: Great Mistress, the Chosen

Moghedien appears disguised as a dark-haired Domani woman and reveals her identity to the Black Ajah sisters, easily shutting down Liandrin's attempt to channel. She asserts her supreme authority by inflicting agonizing pain on Liandrin and demanding absolute submission from all present. She then assigns specific, individual tasks to each sister, ordering them to find Nynaeve al'Meara.

Chapter 25 - Dreams of Galad

Moghedien

Moghedien observes Egwene’s escape from her dream trap, reflecting on the difficulty of trapping one who can walk the World of Dreams freely. She resolves to hunt down Nynaeve al’Meara, Elayne Trakand, and Birgitte, vowing to make Nynaeve beg to be bound in service.

Chapter 34 - A Silver Arrow

Moghedien — aliases: Great Mistress

Moghedien appears in the dreamscape view of the Forsaken before confronting and capturing Nynaeve. Later in another dream location, she returns to her quarters wounded by the arrow, overpowers Liandrin, and sentences her to servitude before ordering her followers to hunt the menagerie.

Chapter 54 - To Caemlyn

Moghedien — aliases: the Forsaken

Moghedien appears in Tel'aran'rhiod, capturing Birgitte and attempting to bind Nynaeve. She is restrained by an a'dam, forced to reveal Rahvin's trap in Caemlyn, and travels with Nynaeve to the waking world.

Chapter 55 - The Threads Burn

Moghedien — aliases: the Spider

Moghedien is captured by Nynaeve in Tel'aran'rhiod and forced to guide her to Rahvin's location. After Rahvin's death, she feigns relief and hopes for mercy, but Nynaeve drugs her with forkroot tea and threatens to expose her secrets to the rebel Aes Sedai before vanishing.
