Areina, a traveler and former Hunter for the Horn, is present on the ship and shore. She remains with the group after disembarking and watches Birgitte string her bow.

Areina is present in the common room and is seized by Faolain to be tested for the spark. She stares warily at the Aes Sedai, unwilling participant in the sudden scrutiny.
