Careane keeps her stern gaze on Aviendha and nods in agreement with Sareitha. She pats her gelding's neck affectionately and frowns accusingly at Nynaeve for not stopping Aviendha.

Chapter 3 - A Pleasant Ride

Careane attempts to argue the case for the Kin by claiming the nearby boulders were toes of a warrior queen, linking it to the impossibility of the Kin's age claims. Elayne cuts her off.

Chapter 5 - The Breaking Storm

Careane attempts to speak with the Kinswomen and guards the Bowl. She fires at the Seanchan raken as part of the group's defense.

Chapter 6 - Threads

Careane

Careane is sent back to the hilltop to watch for the Seanchan approach and is later summoned back as the group prepares to leave.
