Chapter 1 - To Keep the Bargain
Aviendha — aliases: Wise One, Maiden
Aviendha struggles with her growing softness and attraction to wetlander comforts while maintaining her vigilance against enemies. She weaves a massive gateway for the group to escape Ebou Dar, feeling both the joy of the Power and shame at her difficulty with the weave. After sensing a gholam watching them from a tower, she draws the Power, ready to use it, and warns Elayne and Nynaeve of imminent danger before departing.
Chapter 2 - Unweaving

Aviendha watches the palace rooftops through the gateway and then carefully unweaves the gateway to remove any trace of their passage. She defends her actions to the Aes Sedai as a necessary measure to hide from a watcher, admitting to Elayne that she was frightened by the figure and ashamed of fleeing from Rand rather than fighting him.
Chapter 3 - A Pleasant Ride
Aviendha — aliases: Aiel woman
Aviendha rides with the group, discussing the failure of her warning message and her feelings for Rand with Elayne. She visits the Sea Folk to assert her independence, teasing the junior Windfinders and supporting Elayne during the political maneuvering surrounding the Kin and the Bowl.
Chapter 4 - A Quiet Place

Aviendha participates in the interrogation of Ispan Shefar, testing her belt knife against her thumb to intimidate the prisoner. She then assists Elayne in searching the packhorses, where she finds a dagger that unsettles her and causes her hands to tremble, leaving her staring at it with dry lips.
Chapter 5 - The Breaking Storm

Aviendha initially laments her perceived failures to Elayne before being comforted and gifted an angreal. She joins the circle, channeling with determination despite feeling the presence of the Shadow. She actively participates in attacking the Seanchan raken with fire and supports Elayne's decision to leave Mat behind for the group's safety.
Chapter 6 - Threads
Aviendha
Aviendha assists Elayne in unweaving the gateway and helps fight the Seanchan soldiers with fire weaves. She is severely injured in the fall down the hill and, upon recovering, proposes that she and Elayne become first-sisters, solidifying their bond after the shared danger.
Chapter 20 - Into Andor
Aviendha
Aviendha travels with the group, enduring the physical hardships of the march. She produces a sack of large gemstones to trade for winter clothes in Forel Market, revealing she lost them to Rand al'Thor in a wager. She guards the bed while Elayne and Nynaeve dream.
Chapter 28 - Crimsonthorn
Aviendha
Aviendha eats breakfast, travels to Caemlyn, and assists in the investigation of the murder. She comforts Elayne physically after Adeleas' death.
