Chapter 22 - Gathering Clouds

Bashere rides with the Saldaeans, observes the ruins with Rand, and discusses the history of the Shiota queen. He remains near Rand after the archer attack, noting the dead man's Tar Valon coin and keeping watch for further threats.

Chapter 23 - Fog of War, Storm of Battle

Bashere surveys the dead and wounded, reports the retreat of the Seanchan, and shouts for Morr to heal Rand after the arrow strike, effectively rallying the defense.
