Coiren leads the Aes Sedai embassy, presenting herself and her companions to Rand. She delivers Elaida's invitation and the gift of gold, maintaining composure despite Rand's hostility. She argues with her companions in the coach afterward, cautioning against acting on the suspicion that Moiraine is alive and urging them to wait for Rand's response.
