Olver rides the horse Wind in the fifth race, lying close to the gelding's neck, and wins the race for Mat and Nalesean.

Chapter 28 - Bread and Cheese

Olver

Olver is moved into Mat's sulking room by Queen Tylin to prevent her from entering Mat's bedroom. He plays Snakes and Foxes with Mat and talks about the food he missed.

Chapter 29 - The Festival of Birds

Olver wakes Mat up with endless questions and is left in Mat's care. He is then picked up by Riselle, who gives him a hawk mask and takes him to the festival, leaving Mat alone with Tylin.

Chapter 39 - Promises to Keep

Olver, a boy whom Mat is tasked with protecting, has wandered off into the city. Mat sees a flash of red in the crowd among the fleeing civilians, identifying it as Olver's coat just before the Seanchan attack overwhelms the streets.
