Prologue

Moghedien — aliases: Marigan (マリガン), Forsaken (見捨てられた)

マリガンという名の下で囚人として拘束されていたモグディエンは、ニナエヴがテルアングレアルのリンクを使用してスティリングが存在することを探知できるようにし、同時にレジェンズ・エイジや天気に関する情報を提供した。ニナエヴはこの探知を、スティリングが治癒される可能性があるという証拠として解釈した。

Moghedien is forced to do laundry in the yard, reacting with shame and outrage. She later participates in a lesson with Nynaeve, teaching the forms to detect a man's channeling while Nynaeve guides the flows, displaying a mix of fear and professional satisfaction.

Moghedien sits calmly while Nynaeve sweats, mocking Nynaeve's fear and the Aes Sedai's potential to torture her. She suggests Nynaeve and Elayne flee to Rand, asserting that she is now more of an equal than a captive.

Chapter 37 - When Battle Begins

Moghedien — aliases: Marigan (マリガン)

Moghedien, disguised as the woman 'Marigan', appears before Egwene under the control of the a'dam. She reveals her identity by shifting her appearance back to her true form, then explains how to travel by making places in the Pattern identical. She cowers in terror when Egwene threatens her and watches in shock as Egwene creates a gateway.
