Chapter 6 - Threads Woven of Shadow

Graendal hosts Sammael, showcasing her compelled servants and acrobats while masking her true appearance with illusion. She subtly manipulates Sammael's fears regarding the Great Lord's potential choice of Nae'blis, aiming to direct his anger toward Rand al'Thor. After he leaves, she reflects on her own ambition and the potential for Mesaana's secrets, then directs Ebram to send another 'patient' to Semirhage.

Chapter 23 - To Understand a Message

Graendal visits Sammael in Illian, observing his antiquities and suppressing her envy and fear. She learns of his truce with Rand and his ambition to be the last Forsaken standing, but hides her true feelings behind a facade of compliance. Feigning ignorance of Demandred and Semirhage's locations to protect herself, she agrees to help him locate the others while secretly resolving to flee if necessary.
