Amys brutally disciplines Egwene for her previous disobedience by dragging her from the dream, attacking her with a nightmare shape, and stripping her access to the Source. She forces Egwene to submit to her authority and dictates the group's plan to monitor Rand, insisting on Aviendha's compliance.

Amys is among the Wise Ones who cluster around Aviendha in excitement after she creates a ball of fire. She sternly warns Moiraine and Egwene to stay out of Aviendha's training.

Amys

Amys shifts her shawl and runs fingers through her pale hair on the ledge, looking worried and relieved as she watches Rand return with Asmodean.
