Perrin's dun stallion is bridled and saddled. He balks briefly at the reflection in the Waygate before merging into the tunnel, whickering nervously in the darkness.

Chapter 30 - Beyond the Oak

Stepper, Perrin's dun stallion, is ridden out of the village by Perrin, though he is eventually dismounted as the group proceeds on foot to the sickhouse.

Chapter 45 - The Tinker’s Sword

Stepper

Perrin rides Stepper through the village to organize defenses, negotiates with the Whitecloaks, and eventually rides him toward the North Road to meet the arriving column.

Chapter 56 - Goldeneyes

Stepper — aliases: dun stallion

Stepper, Perrin's horse, carries Perrin into battle, struggles and goes down under the weight of a Trolloc, and later gallops with Perrin toward Faile.
