Chapter 2 - Whirlpools in the Pattern

Faile exprime son désir de quitter Tear avec Perrin en raison de sa peur des Forsaken et du Dragon Réincarné, mais il refuse. Elle tente de l'aider lors de son attaque à la hache, mais est repoussée hors de la pièce pour sa sécurité, après quoi elle le giflette, soulagée qu'il ait survécu.

Faile accompanies Perrin, pretending to understand his need to stay in Tear but occasionally hinting that she wishes to leave, prompting his desperate search for an adventure to send her away.
Chapter 10 - The Stone Stands

Faile est vue gardant le dos de Perrin avec ses couteaux alors qu'il combat des Trollocs dans un couloir. Rand les observe brièvement avant de continuer vers Callandor.
Chapter 14 - Customs of Mayene

Faile apprend la menace que représentent les Blancs-Cloaks pour les Deux-Rivières et s'engage dans une dispute avec Perrin au sujet des dangers liés à l'utilisation des Voies. Elle affronte Berelain dans les couloirs, la menaçant de lui raser la tête, ce qui dégénère en une bagarre physique où Faile est maîtrisée. Rhuarc intervient et lui confisque ses couteaux en guise de punition, après quoi Faile décide de garder Perrin pour elle-même.
Chapter 16 - Leavetakings

Faile stands behind Loial's flower bank, revealing she has tricked him by invoking a solemn oath to travel to the Two Rivers before anyone else. She forces Perrin to allow her to join the party or risk being left behind, showing no intention to stay.
Chapter 18 - Into the Ways

Faile mounts her mare Swallow, insisting Perrin must ask her to join him. She rides with Bain and Chiad, taunts Perrin about a 'lost puppy,' and follows him through the Waygate to the Ways.
Chapter 27 - Within the Ways

Faile rides through the Ways with Perrin, where she slaps and punches him for his secretive behavior before demanding he follow her call. In the Mountains of Mist, she helps Loial lead the pack animals out of the gate and then tends to Perrin's wounds with stitches and ointment, scolding him for his torn coat afterward.
Chapter 28 - To the Tower of Ghenjei

Faile insists on separate camps and takes her turn at guard duty, laughing with the other Aiel women before settling down. She is present in the camp when Perrin wakes and prepares to keep watch himself.

Faile follows Perrin to Emond’s Field, confronts him about his plan to surrender, gives a gift to Mistress al’Vere, and comforts Perrin as he grieves.
Chapter 30 - Beyond the Oak
Faile
Faile comforts Perrin and agrees to stay with him despite his earlier attempts to send her away. She is ready to draw her knife against Cenn Buie but is restrained by Perrin, and later trusts Mistress al’Vere's word regarding the hidden Aes Sedai, remaining vigilant.
Chapter 31 - Assurances

Faile accompanies Perrin to the sickhouse, scolding him for his rudeness toward the Aes Sedai. She later sits with the group while Alanna heals injuries and shares a moment with Perrin regarding his scar.

Faile voyage avec le groupe, corrige les villageois sur la nature des raids de Trollocs, et reste discrètement admirative de Wil al'Seen tout en laissant Perrin gérer la confrontation face aux soupçons des villageois.

Faile accompanies Perrin, forgives him for earlier jealousy, and helps rescue the prisoners during the night raid, displaying agility and combat readiness.
Chapter 40 - Hunter of Trollocs

Faile arrives at Perrin's camp with Lord Luc, delivers news from Emond's Field, and insists on staying with Perrin during the Trolloc hunt. She rides alongside him on Stepper after the battle, tending to his wounds and offering encouragement.
Chapter 41 - Among the Tuatha’an

Faile refuses the Maidens' suggestion to sleep elsewhere and stays with Perrin in the wagon. She comforts him after his wound is treated, listens to his confession about his wolf dream, and reveals her true identity as the daughter of Lord Davram Bashere. She then forces him to drink a sedative to help him sleep.
Chapter 42 - A Missing Leaf

Faile soigne les blessures de Perrin dans le chariot du Tinker, l'obligeant à se reposer et à manger. Elle refuse fermement sa demande de se rendre dans les montagnes, impose qu'il soit transporté sur une civière si nécessaire, et l'accompagne à Emond's Field, où elle repousse les avances des Tinkers et défend l'honneur de Perrin.
Chapter 43 - Care for the Living

Faile stays by Perrin’s side, tending to him and angrily dismissing the inquisitive villagers to protect his rest. She helps restrain him for the medical procedure and holds a biting stick for him to chew on before he faints.
Chapter 44 - The Breaking Storm
Faile
Stays by Perrin's bedside, forces him to drink water, and physically prevents him from leaving the inn by dragging him down the stairs. She then negotiates with Marin al’Vere to let him ride, manages his pride by flattering him, and rides with him to the village green, staying close to ensure he does not engage the enemy prematurely.
Chapter 45 - The Tinker’s Sword
Faile
Faile helps manage the refugee situation and warns Perrin against the dangers of allowing the Whitecloaks into the village, sharpening her knife while expressing her distrust of Bornhald.
Chapter 53 - The Price of a Departure

Faile tends to her knives and then to Gaul's wounds, listening to Perrin's report of the Trolloc forces. She agrees to ride to Caemlyn to seek Queen Morgase's aid for the Two Rivers, but only if Perrin agrees to marry her immediately. She accepts the betrothal vows before the Women's Circle and allows Perrin to cup her hands in pledge.
Chapter 56 - Goldeneyes
Faile / My Lady Faile
Faile returns with men from Deven Ride, riding Swallow and leading the charge that breaks the Trolloc attack. She reunites with Perrin, rejects Bornhald's arrest attempt, and demands she be allowed to share secrets with her husband.
