Chapter 5 - Questioners

Elayne enters with Moiraine, frowning at the floor as she appears lost in dark thoughts.

Elayne visits Rand in his chambers to support Egwene's teaching efforts, though she also fails to sense his channeling directly. She persists in urging him to cooperate with their training and listens as Egwene explains the limitations of their current approach.

Elayne Trakand spends her time with Rand, offering him advice on governance which he accepts and uses to manage the High Lords. She seeks out secluded moments with him, feeling proud of her conduct and fearful of the time running out before they must leave.

Elayne sits by Egwene's bed, feigning calm while hiding anxiety, and promises to wake Egwene when the candle burns to a specific mark before Egwene enters the dream.

Chapter 16 - Leavetakings

Chapter 19 - The Wavedancer

She carefully maintains her disguise as an Aes Sedai, supporting Nynaeve as she leads the negotiations. While Elayne offers tact to manage the interaction, it is Coine who dictates the terms of passage, driven by the prophecy of the Coramoor rather than any specific management by Elayne.

Chapter 51 - Revelations in Tanchico

Elayne eats Domani food with Nynaeve and Egeanin, freezes Bayle Domon and Egeanin in mid-fight with Air, and binds Egeanin's hands after the Seanchan identity is revealed. She analyzes the possibilities regarding Panarch Amathera's allegiance and decides to keep Egeanin captive in their room while Nynaeve goes to the World of Dreams.

Chapter 54 - Into the Palace

Elayne travels in a cart disguised as a farm woman, later infiltrates the Panarch's Palace, and confronts Temaile in the Panarch's apartment to rescue Amathera.
