A Myrddraal who stands taller than his kind, Shaidar Haran escorts Demandred to the Pit of Doom and delivers the Great Lord's voice. He later subdues Aran'gar in the Dark One's chamber, forbidding her and Osan'gar from channeling.

Shaidar Haran appears in the corridor of Semirhage's location, conveying the Great Lord's strict command that she must drain her prisoner completely and immediately. He looms over Semirhage with imposing silence before vanishing into the shadows, displaying movement properties distinct from other Myrddraal.
