Liz works the check-out stand, chats with Vic about politics and dentistry, and agrees to hold the store fort alone while he leaves for coffee.

Liz, the lead checker, participates in Vic's experiment by running towards the pillar when he pops a bag and yells, then leaves the store with scornful looks toward him.
