Nynaeve Heals Dyelin, explains her lack of knowledge against forkroot, and confronts Elayne about drinking wine before joining her in Tel'aran'rhiod to argue over the Kin and Oath Rod policies.

Chapter 11 - Ideas of Importance

Nynaeve / Nynaeve Sedai / Nynaeve al'Meara

Nynaeve teaches Talaan to shield and is tested by the Windfinders under Zaida's orders. She is visited by Alivia, who delivers a summons to dinner, and later receives Talaan's request to go to the White Tower. She finally sees Rand and accepts his offer to keep two ter'angreal.

Chapter 12 - A Lily in Winter

Nynaeve is present in the sitting room when Elayne and the others arrive, reacting to Rand's disguise and the subsequent bonding. Later, it is discovered that she has vanished from the palace along with Lan and Alivia, leaving behind a note and missing angreal.

Chapter 22 - Out of Thin Air

Dressed in elaborate Far Madding attire with heavy jewelry, she sits in the Women's Room and follows Rand and Min upstairs. She reacts with stoic observation to Rand's report of the ambush and leaves the room after stating she is not blind to his recklessness.

Chapter 34 - The Hummingbird’s Secret

Nynaeve — aliases: Child, the wilder

Nynaeve loiters near the bootmaker's shop buying braid, then is dragged away by Cadsuane and Alivia after seeing the Street Guards surround the building. She argues with her companions, insisting on helping Rand and Lan, but is silenced by Cadsuane’s threats. Later, she channels through a Well to restore the coronet to Aleis, displaying her power to force the Counsels' compliance.

Chapter 35 - With the Choedan Kal

Nynaeve

Nynaeve links with Rand to channel the Choedan Kal, suffering physical exhaustion from the torrent of saidar flowing through her. After the taint is cleansed, she collapses unconscious beside Rand.
