Dyelin argues against Elayne's plan to build an army, expressing fear of civil war, and assists Elayne during her undressing for the ceremony.

Chapter 9 - A Cup of Tea

Dyelin storms into Elayne's dining room to announce that thousands of Borderlander troops have been spotted in Braem Wood. She is attacked by assassins who enter the room, is stabbed and killed by one of them, and does not recover before Elayne collapses.

Chapter 10 - A Plan Succeeds

Dyelin is revealed to have survived the attack after being Healed by Nynaeve, though she lost much blood and requires time to recover her strength.
