Chapter 13 - Wonderful News

Cadsuane — aliases: Cadsuane Sedai

Cadsuane holds court in the Sun Palace sunroom, asserting authority over Harine din Togara and ordering Sarene to escort the Sea Folk woman away. She confers with Verin and Sorilea about the Black Ajah sisters and later rushes to Alanna's side upon hearing of her collapse, remaining by the bed in silence.

Chapter 23 - To Lose the Sun

Cadsuane rides with absolute authority, maintaining the gateway and commanding the group to Far Madding. She rides beside Alanna and Verin, occasionally checking Alanna's pace, and directs the group's movement while ignoring Harine's complaints. She pays the local guard officer to allow entry and oversees the inspection of the party.

Chapter 24 - Among the Counsels

Cadsuane leads the group through Far Madding, dismissing a servant to summon the First Counsel and ordering her companions to remain close. She confronts Aleis Barsalla with sharp wit, uses Verin to intimidate the local rulers with threats of war, and challenges specific Counsels regarding standards and her knowledge of them before taking charge of Harine and Shalon.

Cadsuane enters Rand's room to inform him that she has brought additional followers who have sworn fealty. She slaps Rand for his language, leaves the room, and later meets with Verin to explain her true goal is to help Rand remember his humanity before the final battle.

Chapter 34 - The Hummingbird’s Secret

Cadsuane physically restrains Nynaeve to prevent her from endangering the rescue plan, then leads a parade of Aes Sedai and Asha'man into the Hall of the Counsels. She confronts Aleis Barsalla, uses the Power to remove the First Counsel's coronet, and successfully negotiates the release of Rand and Lan.
