Aviendha accompanies Elayne and Min to the bonding ceremony, where she weaves the Spirit threads to link her to Rand. Afterward, she attempts to talk with Min to establish a relationship, struggling with the emotional intensity of the bond and Birgitte's anger. She offers to find oosquai for the drunk Birgitte.
