Chapter 7 - A Goatpen

Perrin observes Bethal through a looking glass and debates with Faile and Berelain over who should enter the city. He ultimately chooses Berelain for the mission, then rides to rescue Maighdin and her group from attackers using a fiery wheel weave. He captures a bandit, threatens him with hanging if he continues Masema's atrocities, and releases him after the message is delivered. He then accepts Maighdin's invitation to rest in his camp.
Chapter 8 - A Simple Country Woman

Perrin leads his convoy into a hidden camp, surveying the Mayeners, Wise Ones, and Two Rivers fighters. He questions Basel Gill about Seanchan forces in Amador and later debates with Faile the political optics of flying the Manetheren banner before agreeing to keep it as a disguise.
Chapter 9 - Tangles

Perrin wakes before dawn and moves through the camp, observing the behavior of his men and the Cairhienin retainers. He accepts breakfast porridge from Flann Barstere, confiscates brandy from Jori Congar, and walks among the Winged Guards, praising them and earning their cheers. He later confronts the Wise Ones about their treatment of Seonid, who defends her stance on killing Masema before leaving the tent.
Chapter 10 - Changes
Perrin / Lord Perrin Aybara — aliases: Majesty
Perrin observes Masuri beating a rug in silent fury before encountering Elyas Machera and Gaul. He engages in a private conversation with Elyas about Saldaean women and the nature of his bond with Faile. Upon Alliandre's arrival, Perrin is stunned when she swears fealty to him, which he accepts. He later orders the execution of seven captives linked to Masema and watches a supernatural storm break over the camp.
